I have to admit I haven't been doing a lot of cooking recently. I have mainly been living on salad and the homemade ice cream I mentioned in this post. We have been so busy with the van and various other things that I just haven't had a lot of time for it.
However, I have been thinking about what we can cook in the van! We have just ripped the hob out (it was in a rather awkward place) but we are planning to re-install it when we have built the new units. The "cooker" has 2 rings and a grill. So we're going to have to get our thinking caps on if we want to create the usual delicious treats.
I may have found just the book to help with the afore mentioned task! The Campervan Cookbook!
Hurrah! I'm really looking forward to getting this book and having a go at some of the recipes. Hopefully with a similar view to that on the front cover!
I shall leave you with a couple of examples of the yummy things inside! A full update on Pip should be coming soon.

this book looks so nice! :)
ReplyDeleteHello! I finally got around to sitting down and exploring your blog. And what a lovely blog it is! I am enchanted by Pip - my brother has a 1980s VW Scirocco so I've had years of hearing about his quests to track down various parts and restore it! I prefer your idea of a campervan, though, as I'm sure me and Beatrix the dog would have many great adventures! Did you see Martin Dorey's tv series? I think he's got a piece in Pretty Nostalgic magazine this month too. x
ReplyDeleteThanks :) I hadn't heard of Martin Dorey but i just googled it and will have to watch that at some point. I love all prgrammes about traveling around Britain. I need some ideas of places to go too!
